I've also been charged £64 after spending a day wondering what the google play charge was on my account. I signed up for the free app recommended by my wife. At no point when i added the app was there any flag saying id be charged £64 i only realised it was myfitnesspal that the money was for through a few tenuous emails that stated premium at the top which i thought sounded odd. There was no acknowledgment in any form I was paying them. no text no email nothing. a lot of companies and google play nowadays are using these tactics. when you download an app its made to look like your not signing up for anything but a harmless free fun thing, when really the button you just pressed without any warning is the one that swipes money from your bank. Its basically legal fraud because they know a lot of people wont realise until its to late

Use to be a great app until they started charging for the barcode scanner. App deleted. Account deleted. Better options out there now.

Doesn’t log in, says my name then in brackets deleted
Forget password doesn’t work and can’t even log in with Facebook account

I guess I’ll just move over to another app h

Please refund me as this was an accident!!

Downloaded to use with fit bit, didn’t work correctly, uninstalled after 2 days of trying to get it to work

I used to love MyFitnessPal. It was one of the best apps for weight loss, diet monitoring, health tracking,etc. Not anymore. Now they charge as much as my gym does for a food diary? Can't access anything from before. Nothing as it was before, and to pay to be disappointed …Nah, I'm good. You can keep all that. I guess they aren't aware that there are several free alternatives out there. Bye mfp!

Honestly they got too obsessed with the money. There is no reason someone should have to pay for the barcode scanner or to see the macros or honestly for half the stuff they offer. I got so annoyed that I used my computer science knowledge to begin making my own app. If you want to know more or sign up to the newsletter to be alerted about updates and when it comes out. I've been using for 2 years the app and now it's time to switch to another one. I have already tried another one and it's really is a fresh breath. This app is dying and IMO they only have profit because of a tone of ads

This is a warning for those that choose to heed it. This company has LOUSY customer service! Even when they charge my account erroneously. Instead of help I receive form emails asking me to provide a receipt of my purchase, only I didn't receive a receipt because I NEVER PURCHASED ANYTHING!

They don't listen and obviously don't make their mistakes priority. I am on disability and on a very fixed income and due to this company taking money from my account, I am now 2 days without my needed medication. Do better MyFitnessPal. Do better!

One of the best things about myfitnesspal was the barcode scanner and now they want you to pay for this basic feature. The constant ad spamming I could live with but this was too much. I had recommended this app to my friends but now I actually feel bad about it.

I had this App for free then they got greedy and a monthly subscription which is an absurd amount the free version is useless avoid better free ones out there .

This was lovely to use but just absolutely bombarded with ‘go premium’ ‘go premium’ go premium’ really annoying.

1 star purely because of price, 5 stars for food logging etc but premium features do not justify £15.99 pm for once was £5.99 and then £7.99 to now be doubled

Brilliant app but unfortunately now become greedy, ill never use premium features again

I've been using MyFitnessPal for over a year, and it has been a game-changer for me. The app is user-friendly and has helped me track my food and exercise. I love being able to set goals and see my progress over time. The barcode scanner makes it easy to log food, and the extensive food database is a great resource.
